last look at the hives

So last week I added some feed to hive 2 and was due to do the same to hive 1 this week, having thought about it, I decided rather than adding syrup I would just leave them the almost full super, but the queen excluder would need removing, I'll leave the super on through till next year and the queen can lay in it, giving her more space before I add the flow frames, I was lucky enough to get some bur comb from the queen excluder that was filled with honey, I would like to think it's japanese knotweed and it tasted beautiful
