removing Bees from honey boxes

so last week I removed the first lot of leysdown honey, everything went smoothly, apart from removing the bees from the actual box, we would normaly use a clearer board, which incorperates a one way gate, allowing the beess to go out of the box, but not return.

normally these are left in place for 24hrs, I gave them 48hrs, and the box was still full of bees, resulting in me having to remove each frame and brush the bees off, bees DO NOT like this, so I started searching for an alternative means, and as I follow a lot of beekeepers from america on youtube, watched how a few of them do it,
